Product is very nice and compact. I would recommend purchasing the Olympus ME-52W Noise Cancelling microphone to enhance your recordings.

Overall, I think that Olympus made a nice product here. This product is useful to get notes or record a lecture but not to compose a useful dictation. Generally, it is a good digital recorder, it has a good sound for its size. It has many features and it is easy to use. The only real negative that I found is the lack of editing features in the design. It would be much better if you could go back to the middle of previous recording and start recording from that point, you can do this if you upoload it to a computer however.

Product is very compact and incredibly easy to use. It also came with a little neoprene case which I was pleased to find. For everything it is, you really can't beat the price. I am more than satisfied with this product. I have not yet uploaded any files onto my Mac, but I'm sure I will have no problems.

the VN 6200PC voice recorder was chosen for recording lectures and it served it purpose well, sound was clear.
72 hours of high quality sound is more than enough for me.
pc compatibility was a must for me and it was easier to use, plug and play.
small and handy was nice too.
overall for a refurbish item at $33 was a fantastic price for such a great recorder.

Received this last week and tested it out. the sound quality is really good. it's fairly easy to use (you just have to look thru the manual to set up the date etc). i like how they have different folders so that you can store different lectures/memo's on there. school starts next monday so i cannot wait to test it out in a real classroom setting. i did a practice recording with it w/ someone 7 feet away and the sound quality is excellent. i'd recommend this product to any student.
